Marston's 'Low-carb' beer update
I realise that this conversation started 12 years ago! In case anyone is still alive & interested, I had an email from Marston's suggesting that their low-carb 'Resolution' beer is 1.26g/100g - ie 3.5g per bottle or 7g per pint. This is double the figure given in Sati's chart, but it may be that the recipe has changed. Still low compared with most others though. However, I say 'suggesting' because Marston's were keen to say that this was a 'calculated' figure rather than one derived from independent analysis. This makes me a little suspicious - especially given the fact that though a pleasant flavour, for my taste buds the beer is quite sweet! Does anyone have any other evidence about this or other beers?
