Default Intermittent Fasting Revisited

Hi, there! It's been a while since I've posted here regularly. I won't go into my long and boring story. If you're interested, you can see my journal. Not too long ago I posted on what's been going on with me lately.

Anyway, I recently ran across a video by Dr. Jason Fung, a Canadian doctor who specializes in working with diabetic patients. Here is his blog:

The video I watched was called "The Perfect Treatment for Diabetes and Weight Loss."

I'm not sure why I even watched it, because I'm not diabetic. His approach was to treat diabetic patients with various forms of intermittent fasting (IF). Now, I'd read all about IF back when Dr. Eades did a series on it, maybe around 2008 or so. The reason why IF works never was clear to me when I read the Eades series, but it suddenly became crystal clear when I watched the Fung video.

Long story short, would anyone like to participate in an Intermittent Fasting challenge/discussion? I'd love to hear from people on what worked (and why, in your opinion), what didn't work (and why, in your opinion), and get some healthy dialog going on this topic.

There were numerous threads on IF back around 2008, but not much since. MizKitty started a series of threads on IF around that time, but it seems to have petered out.

All thoughts are welcome.
