I've done PP and Atkins (and every other diet ever invented) & they got me to 150 lbs (at 5'6"), but I was never able to get lower than that and sustain it until I did an elimination diet to purge my diet of inflammatory foods, which for me include: all dairy but 2T/day butter, all grains, all legumes including peanut butter and anything containing soy, all processed foods, sugar, HFCS and most fruits except a few berries. I eat a vLCvHF moderate protein diet of real foods (5%C-70%F-20%P of calories). My last 15 lbs were inflammation, not fat.
