I'm no expert here, but I read in Consumer Reports that the neon yellow urine comes from the passing of B vitamins. That is, what the body does not absorb is excreted. Their advice was to take the vitamins every other day; no need to waste vitamins that are not being absorbed, after all.

That being said, I have the yellow urine syndrome and have not changed my vitamin habits. IMHO, it's a small price to pay to ensure that I am getting enough B-complex vitamins, even if some are wasted.
