...Also do we know if fruit flies *need* chromium? It may be a case where they don't need it supplemented and it is actually toxic to them. *I'm* not a fruit fly and I *know* humans do need chromium. Plus just how MUCH chromium were they giving these fruit flies anyway? Just like the report on why they took cylamates off the market, but they failed to indicate that the level of cyclamates they were giving the rats equaled a boxcar load eaten in a year!!! And let's not forget that WATER is toxic if you drink too much too soon....
