Good for you for thinking of this.

For the last two years I lived in a neighborhood that was almost entirely students, so we never got trick-or-treaters, but now I'm in a neighborhood with more families so it might happen this year.
Personally, I'll probably just go out that night so that I'm not tempted by a bowl of candy, and don't feel guilty about handing out sugar bombs to kids.

I appreciate you trying to set a good example, though.
