I've noticed that shower water tastes sweet too. I can smell a various assortment of things too.

I wonder if refined carbs worked as a senses dulling "drug" that we were all addicted to and didn't notice until we weren't on them any more.

People say that we've lost much of our senses compared to animals or early man...maybe it's just the carbs masking them for the majority.
