For years I was on atkins while being a vegetarian and it just didn't work for me, everybodies different though.
For me personally, I feel I do better when I just stick to eating clean unprocessed foods and not worry so much about the carb count but kept an eye on my calories, make sure I'm eating to my bmi.
I eat alot of vegetables, starchy and non starchy and have fruit.
I also have alot of plain yogurt, nuts and eggs for protein plus 2 tablespoons of coconut oil a day (I make unsweetened coconut bark with almond bits!)
No bars or anything with soy or fake bread foods.. Just clean living.
By far the best choice I've made! Only 2 kilos to go =D
