Although I’m more concerned with how I look and how my clothes feel on me, I do weigh myself on a daily basis. I find that it’s a great tool not only for keeping me accountable, but also to monitor how different foods and types of exercise can affect me, and track any changes in my body that might take my weight a little higher due to circumstances beyond my control (TOM etc).

I am quite used to seeing the daily fluctuations, so don’t have any problems with those. I know that any gains are usually due to water weight and not anything more sinister. However, the one number that I do take notice of is the scale number once a week, every Saturday morning. As long as it stays more or less the same every week, then I’m happy. If it doesn't, then I know I need to do something about it.
