I think you're right, in the long run the statistics are going to win the day. Seems like just about everyone knows sombody who has lost weight on an LC diet, and quite a few who've kept it off. That's what attracted me. That and the logic behind it.

I just hate to see dogma in any form. We should be discussing and experimenting, not digging trenches for heaven's sakes!
