Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. I'm in my second week of induction and have been trying very hard to stay within the paramaters of the amounts I should be eating, but I just might start adding more than the recommended amount of veggies because that will increase my carb count and get it closer to 20. I can't wait until I can have nuts and berries! I'm so glad that I will be able to move past induction by the time those summer berries are ripe! I'll just have to learn to cut down on the amounts I used to have. I'm a little bummed that I might not be able to have fresh peaches. We used to go up to the orchards and by boxes of peaches. I'd have them every morning with yogurt and granola. Same with raspberries. Maybe I could try cream and soy nuts? Has anyone ever done that?
