Great ideas, getting rid of the ashtrays etc. It does help when you are somewhere without a smoke histroy, not smoking in the house. It helped me as well when i tried to quit, that and not smoking in the car. Stress is the big issue for me, even after this time smoke free. I did it cold turkey as well. I found myself chewing gum or mints one day, walking in circles the next. Whatever helped. You should find it getting easier each day. The physical cravings are kept at bay, not its the gonna be the "mental" habit and comfort of smoking. Or at least it was for me.
