But seriously.. It's really great to pinpoint any triggers and anything that will stall you right from the get go.. And add it back slowly when your plan of choice allows and see how that goes.

As for eggs.. HAVE AT 'EM! They're a wonderful amazing source of protein and other nutrients and vitamins for your body. I love eggs and I actually feel great when I eat them. They're (IMO) a light way to start my day and also feel pretty satiated depending on how I eat them (mayo, butter, or cream cheese) until lunch time. So eat em!

Congrats so far, btw!!!!!! You're off to a wonderful start!
