Thank you all for helping a total stranger. I went to a few sites yesterday. From all I have read, it appears I was eating too much meat and too little vegetables. I am very encoraged by your help.
I also realize how often I have had a meal that was completely off the diet. I was on Atkins for 3 years and never had even 1 mmeal off the diet but I am a lot looser with the zone.
I have to say that I felt a lot better yesterday and was not hungry after adjusting my meals for blocks. Basically, I was having 6 or 8 oz of meat and a salad as a meal. I am swithching to 4 oz of meat, a salad and a big serving of steamed evegetables with a little olive oil.
Coach: I did go to the zone to calculate the blocks I need. It said I have 21% body fat and should be 15%. It said I need 14 blocks per day.
Thank you all for you help. Any additional insights will be greatly appreciated. I am working on this until I have lost another 25 pounds and am alert all day long.
