A site that I found to be a great deal of help to me was www.zoneperfect.com On this site they give you a weeks worth of meals as well as snack options. They also tell you some foods that count for 1 block of carb, fat and protein so that you can make up your own snacks should you not like any of their ideas.
You also looked unsure as to how many blocks you were having per day, (or how many you should have for your activity level) and there is a quick quiz on there that will estimate how many you should have.

As far as books go, I LOVE the Zone Food Blocks book. This book breaks down just about any food that you could imagine into one block servings. It makes it incredibly easy to judge your intake of fat, protein and carbs. It also will tell you what the %'s are in pre-made meals as well as eating out meals.

I agree with CaroleSP on the salad dressing issue. Making your own is VERY easy and it tastes great. Personally, I like a 1 part olive oil 2 parts vinegar combination.

Hope some of this helps! Just keep on trying and it will click!
