Well the spaghetti squash has taken over my vegetable gardens. I have eaten one when it was quite young. Cooked it up like a zucchini, skin and all with rhubarb for a dessert.
There would be about 24 of the squash lurking under the leaves and are about 16+ cms round and up to 30 cms long and some are starting to get a yellowish colour to the skins. I will be able to take some into the markets perhaps next year as I am going to try to use at least one a week and see how long they keep for.
Hopeful they float too as it has been teeming for two days now so it is a bit waterlogged and very humid!
