Hi Fantasia,

Tomatoes are, as you said, a fruit so they are a bit high in sugar for us. Well done on buying the bag of salad. Don't freak out at some shredded carrot. Carrot has a low GI (the carbs are slowly absorbed) so a few shreds won't hurt you. My main veggiie are cauliflower, cooked in many ways. (You can even mash it and it come out like mashed potato), broccoli, and celery which I often stir fry. I also eat load of Chinese leaves, cucumber and lettuce. All these are low in carbs.

You are doing well - keep it up.
