My father is allergic to olives and olive oil. Have you tried using a different oil - another seed oil, perhaps. Some to try are walnut, sesame, sunflower and safflower, particularly if they are cold or expeller pressed. If all seeds are your problem, there's nothing wrong with butter and bacon oils.
