Hi! I haven't been here in a while, but I'll jump in!
I found that I was able to stick with Atkins Induction better than anything else, but once I started adding carbs, the diet was history! I felt much better with the carbs---in fact, Atkins made me have hot flashes that were miserable. And although I'm 38, I don't think I'm pre-menopausal yet! Dh and I use Natural Family Planning and the hot flashes were wreaking havoc with my basal body temp. You could really tell the days I woke up with one! LOL!
Anyway, all that went away with SP. I'm one of her biggest cheerleaders too, but I find it hard to follow. I basically don't have a problem eating just protein and veggies, but if I'm going to add a carb, I use her guidelines on type and amounts.
