Yes, what you're experiencing is pretty typical. It doesn't usually start immediately as it takes a few days for the carbs to leave the system.

Sometimes the headache can also be from caffeine withdrawal too.

The only suggestion I can give you is to drink LOTS of water (to help flush things out) and just ride it out. You'll feel better soon.
