My first day lifting weights without a video. I am doing Built's Basic Whole Body Workout. I’m trying to figure out which weights too use, but I have a better idea what to use the next time.

I did 4 min on the treadmill as a warm-up.

Goblet Squats
1st set – 8 reps with 8lb DB
2nd set – 8 reps with 12lb DB
3rd set – 5 reps with 15lb DB
I will probably start with 15lb next time.
Romanian DB Deadlifts
3 x 8 ~12 lb DB
I will start with 15lb the next time.
Pullovers
3 x 8 ~ 12lb DB
I will start with 15lb the next time.
Arnold Presses – this was a new exercise for me.
3 x 8 ~ 8lb DB
I was pretty tough, but I think I will go to 10lb the next time.
One Arm DB Rows
1st set – 8 reps with 8lb DB
2nd & 3rd set – 8 reps with 10lb DB
I will start with 12lb the next time
Low Incline DB Press
1st set – 8 reps with 8lb DB
2nd & 3rd sets – 8 reps with 10bl DB
I will start with 12lb the next time.
Weighted Crunches on the ball – this was my first time doing weighted crunches. The weight really does make a difference.
1st set – 8 reps with 5lb weight plate
2nd & 3rd sets – 8 reps with 8lb DB on my chest
I will use a 10lb weight the next time.

20 Minutes of Moderate intensity cardio
Treadmill – 2% incline at 3.0mph
