This thread got me thinking of something my dad used to make us from his trips to the local sports bar. What he did was take a can of beer (I suppose I would use Michelob Ultra) and poor it into a crockpot. He then got some polish sausages or hot links (your preference) and put the sausages in the beer. He put the cover on the crockpot and cooked the sausages on the low setting for a few hours. He left the crock going all day and we got the sausages as we wanted, we just put them in a napkin, squirted mustard on them, and ate them just like that- sans bread/bun.
I wouldn't eat these on a daily basis, but once in a while... yum!

I think these would work well for Super Bowl sunday- something easy and very "manly". May take the mind off the chips and dip!
