Rob, yes whipping cream is allowed, in fact it is lower in carbs than half and half. Generally, the thicker the dairy the lower the carbs...

I use the half and half because I round it out a bit and both seem to come up to 1 gm, but with the heavier cream I tend to use less.

I hardly use cheese ON or IN anything because for a while there I was melting it on my eggs, over my veggies, etc. I realized that when I want to TASTE the cheese, I should save my portions up so I can just cut a piece off and have it with some salami .

So now I use butter in my veggies instead of the oil or cheese. It does help to keep the foods and portions (and calories) under control. Makes things happen a bit quicker for me.
