When we go out to eat, I take my enzyme pills with me, that way if I do eat more carb than I plan, I won't be so miserable.
We also need to quit beating ourselves up when we slip or struggle, particularily this time of year. What is the purpose of enjoying ourselves if we feel guilty about what we eat. Just consider you are trying to fix yourself, in many ways, not just in eating but how we picture the use of food. Stressing over what we eat, when we eat and how we eat, does not help the situation, it could actually trigger the need for more comfort food. I'm with Poofie look at all the other fun stuff we have around to eat. Things everyone else is beating them selves for eating as well as all the cookies, cakes, and candy. We do have a bit more choice and relief this time of year than all the other "fad DIE with a T's" out there.
