You bet it's something to consider.

The broth in the recipe is not listed as condensed, and the broth you are finding sounds condensed. So you should use the measure in the recipe after you have done whatever you need to do as the package suggests.

That's odd though. I see broths all the time that are not condensed, usually in a tetrapack. Actually, they're usually labelled stock, like beef stock or chicken stock or veg stock...so that's probably what you need to look for, is the packaged stock. I would.
