Hi,

I spent some time at the University of Toronto bookstore, looking at clinical diagnostic texts for information on blood lipoproteins, and blood test interpretation.

Can someone please explain the units conversion to me?

For example, my overall cholesterol is 5.39, but I notice that people posting numbers here are using units that involve much larger numbers.

An explanation would be most welcome!
