Hi Mick

Nat and Judy have already given you some good advice. If you loose weight after drinking alcohol and it stays off, then it is indicative that you are not getting enough calories and probably could do with increasing the carbs a bit in your way of life.

I use Fitday a lot to keep track of my food intake. You should be eating at least 2,000 calories a day, probably nearer 2,500 depending upon your level of activity.

Your body needs time to adjust as you loose weight. You can only say that you have stalled if there is no change for at least 4 weeks. There are some members here who have to wait a lot longer than that for the scales to move. Weight loss is not linear and depends on other things like stress as well.

Keep the faith, eat sufficient, increase your carbs to around 30 g a day and see what happens. I'm surprised to find that I have lost more weight over the last 4 months since I have increased my carbs.

Every success.
