I didn't get an energy burst, but I do feel more sustained energy throughout the day. One thing that HAS increased my overall energy level is EXERCISE! I used to be a total couch potato, and also a very depressed person. I make sure to get some exercise at least 6 days a week, whether it's the gym, pilates at home or walking to and from work, on a good day it's all of the above. I find that I need less sleep and some days I wake up at 6am and if it's nice and sunny, I just can't bear to stay in bed--I HAVE to get up and do something! What a change from before!
Of course with the winter coming, it is harder to get out of bed when it's cold and dark outside...any suggestions? I bought a stereo so I have music to listen to in the morning, that helps, but do any of you long-time LCers have any great tips to battle Seasonal Affective Disorder? Thanks
Tuna Marie
