Default Starch in medication

I'm sorry if this is the wrong section to be posting. I've recently come down with an awful ear infection and the medication I've been prescribed is Amoxycillin capsules.

I've checked the inactive ingredients, which are: magnesium stearate, starch, gelatin, erythrosin (E127), quinoline yellow (E104), titanium dioxide (E171), red iron oxide (E172). And I'm concerned about the starch in them. Does it need to contain starch for any particular reason, and will the amount affect me at all?

Also, what is recommended from everyone to help boost your immune system?

Thanks. It's much, much appreciated.
