It might just boil down to a difference in definition. I don't equate control appetite with control cravings, so I didn't pick up on the chromuim connection. To me they are two diffent things. A person can have no appetite, but still have cravings, and I guess that is where the chromium would help.
Maybe I'm too much of a purist, in that I think the best way to start LCing is to give it a good try without the use of aids such as this. Many people are successful when they start, without using an aid.
By advertising it as something to use at the start, in my mind, negates all the good things about a low carb plan. We're probably talking about advertising philospohy here, and there isn't a right or wrong answer, just points of view.
