Don't know much about cholesterol, but I do know that triglycerides can be lowered by exercise (walking for example) and that olive oil is a good fat. Also, you might want to try taking CLA as an essential fatty acid. I know flax seed oil is an EFA, but studies have shown CLA to be wonderful for weightloss. I would use both.
