I personally opt for the post workout insulin spike so I drink 15g worth of powerade after cardio and another 15 after weights followed by my protein shake. I do empty stomach morning workouts which consist of 20MAS followed by 1hr weights. BUT I take aminos, glutamine, and an ECA to combat catabolism before I even go.
