Just my opinion, but i think it helps to read the book. I am doing the protein power phase II part. I am obviously overweight by more than 20%, but I am diabetic so i am on the more liberal carb part of the plan. I eat 40-50g ECC a day.
You do learn tips for how to do this plan by reading.
