Thanks, Kent. My question was mostly rhetorical. I know that sat fat is good for us, and I love my butter and fatty meat. I just get peeved that so many people seem to think there is this "body of evidence" proving it is bad for us.

There are a lot of studies where the researchers would not admit that it was better than neutral, but only that one that purports to "prove" that it's bad for us. And how can they compare our omnivorous systems that are made to handle eating flesh (with its attendant fat) with that of a vegetarian animal that does not have the capability of processing animal flesh?
