Plan: CKD Sept '02
Stats: 280/240/200
BF:
Progress: 50%
Location: Pennsylvania

My LCing history:

Jan 2000-June 2000 lost over 50 pounds (285 - 232)
June 2000-Dec 2000 maintained 235-240 range
2001 off LC, slowly gained back to 275
2002 - present trying to get back on Atkins, usually do good for a week or two, then fall off the wagon. Latest round has been two weeks, dropped from 270-264 so far.

Labor day i am planning to join a gym (havent lifted seriously in almost 8 years) and i want to have a plan in place when i start.

I have looked over both plans and think they both have good merits. BFL would require me to add some more carbs into my diet. I never heard of CKD until last week when i found this site but i have inadvertently been following the diet all summer (do good through the week, then cheat on weekends) but i havent been working out.

I dont think i will have much problems doing either plan, i am just trying to figure out which to try first.

I am kinda leaning towards CKD first. If i do BFL i want to commit 12 weeks to it. SO my thinking is to do CKD for a month and if i have good results continue with it, if not then try BFL for a full 12 week challenge.
