From personal experience, the weeks where I drank a few whiskeys-and-water a few nights a week, I didn't lose weight. In fact, I single-handedly attribute my stall to the alcohol -- but I was ok with it, I knew what I was doing. Now I've stopped drinking again to break the stall and have lost a few more pounds in the past few weeks. As always, it's a YMMV, but I would suggest that you expect to lose less (if at all) if you have more than one or two drinks a week.
