I have had hypothyroid since I was sixteen. I remember missing every Friday english class for testing.

I cant even remember all the test that I have had done over the years. I am sure I have had the radiation treatment, laying under that huge machine so the dr's could see.

I was doing really well until about 6 years ago and I have packed on about 40-50 extra pounds. I am 37 now. I took synthyroid for most of my life and then about a year ago we switched to the natural type. But I feel like crap. alot.

I thought the weight was because "I just love food" but now reading these stories I am not so sure.
