Maybe you could try keeping a journal, not a food journal, but a regular journal. Then when you get into a funk, you can write all those feelings down, and then look back and read about all your good days. Maybe that will help to remind you that you will come out of the funk. "The sun'll come out...tomorrow!" hehehe
