Consitipation is a word that crops up quite a lot during induction. Your insides are getting used to very different food and so with no potatoes, etc the amount of fibre initially goes down. However, after the first few days I have had no problems since and don't use any fibre additions. If you eat the vegetables on the plan, especially things like brocolli, then they will contain enough fibre. You also need to make sure you drink enough as a large amount in the large bowel is water.
If you want to take added fibre what most people seem to take on this forum is Psyllium husks. But nodoubt someone else will reply on that issue.
The caffiene you had will not have done any harm. I never gave up coffee completely, just reduced it to two cups a day. Water and vegetables are the key you need.
