Nikki, for some of us the brand of sweetener doesn't matter. It is the "sweet" taste that causes our bodies to go over board on insulin release. False sweet or not some of us are just a little more sensitive than others. Getting away from sweeteners altogether is usually best for a while. This gives our system a chance to regain some normal function instead of over reacting.
