Hello All
Nice to see visitors to our country enjoy Guinness so much. Just to chip in, do you know that over hear a doctor will prescibe a bottle of Guinness on occassion for older people to kep them regular? Yep true, Guinness really is 'Good for you'.
Also, Guinness's unique head is made in part from seaweed which gives the consistency to the pint.
You can buy draught Guinness in cans now which contains a widget in the bottom which explodes to life when you open the can giving you a better glass than the original bottled stuff.
But there really is no better pint than one which comes from an Irish Pub. Secret? A fresh barrell lasts in a pub a very short time and the pumps are cleaned through daily. Often wondered why you're Guinness elsewhere does'nt taste or look or feel the same as the one you had in Grafton St? Because it has been sitting there for two months in the same opened barrel.
Best way to enjoy a Pint? Rustpot was more or less bang on target, however if having a meal and a pint, it has got to be seafood. Nothing comes close to this combination.
Slan go foill
