Right you are Actually, I posted the Eades comments from Protein Power, as well as two other studies a few weeks ago, showing that high protein won't lead to osteoporosis. Here's the link High-Protein Diet Won't Weaken Your Bones.
I find it interesting that in all three studies (this one, plus the other two in the link) researchers did not show that higher protein intake was harmful to bone. The one study showed that protein intake alone improved bone density, whereas the others showed increased bone density when calcium was supplemented. Yet in all three studies, the "experts" doing the reviews are still skeptical and cautioning that "too high" protein intake "might" be harmful to bone.
