Hi Liv! Interesting question! What you're looking for (i think?) is nutrient-dense/low-glycemic fruits.

As far as substituting fruits for veggies, i don't really know -- i assume the vitamins and minerals are going to vary, and probably the main difference will be the sugar content. Uh ... i think!

There's at least one nutritional database online which lists the stats for vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc. Here's the one i'm familiar with, but somebody else might know of others --

If you're pressed for time or just not in the mood to sift through the database, i'll be happy to compile a list for you, as i'm "between careers" at the moment, and looking up info just happens to be one of my favorite obsessions
