This is the title of a documentary on obesity in the United States. I only caught part of it, if it comes on again, you should try and catch it. Here's a review I found for it online. The little bit of the documentary that I saw was brutally honest. That scraping the bone kind of honesty that makes you shiver involuntarily... know what I mean? The title says it all for me, "The Famine Within". How many of us have tried to fill the desperate void of love/respect/nurturing or failing that, just go for comfortably numb with the carbcotic of choice? I, personally, will not be able to stay with this WOL past maintenance if I can't get the emotional side of me to catch up to my rational side. I have my work cut out for me and I'm ready to succeed this time.
