wow, to be a man for a month....lol. (Okay, had to get that little bit of jealousy out of my system!)

I'm sure the loss will slow. A lot of loss the first two-three weeks is mostly excess water. You were probably bloated in a major way--and so I bet your BP has plummeted, too. This is good news in a way (the quick initial loss), and a bit of bad news. The more bloat you had, the more seriously hyperinsulinemic you probably are.

Men can safely lose 2-3 pounds of fat tissue per week, with perhaps a bit more for the very overweight. And if you've never dieted before, it'll come off quickly this first time (but don't count on it coming off as easily if you yo-yo in the future!) If you continue to lose more than 3 pounds a week, I'd fret that I might be also losing some muscle mass in addition to the fat.

The way to avoid that: get your calories up but stay LC, and start lifting weights a bit to preserve what muscle mass you have.
