I have had early onset osteoperosis since the age of 16. I am 20 years old now, and after low carbing since september of last year, my osteoperosis has improved, and my bone density has recovered immensely. I eat a LOT of dairy every day, including all types of cheese, whole milk, yoghurt... I eat plenty of other calcium containing foods every day as well. However I did have a high calcium intake before low carbing, so I do beleive this woe is at least partly responsible for my improvement.

BTW it was my family doctor that suggested low carbing to me to begin with.
