Wow, what a story! And what a strong person you are and a great mom, as well. I'm so glad you de-lurked to tell us your tale, and so very glad that LC is working for everybody in the household (except for that unrepentant 13 year old, but what can you do about kids that age anyway, eh? )

Of course I'll keep a positive thought for you...but honeslty, I think you're going to succeed by force of will, compassion, and your understanding of the weight issue for yourself. Having such love and support from your DH is also a real gift in your life.
