Default Wheat bread and Pasta

Hello,

I'm new here. I did a search but I could not find any info on what I would like to ask. I have recently started to do a low carb diet and I have heard some people say that eating whole wheat bread and pasta is okay on a low carb diet. Is this true? I know white bread is a no no, I have been told that your body will not take in all cars with whole wheat food. I don't know for sure what true or not. I would hate to be on a diet and think I am doing good and then find out I have been blowing it on something like wheat bread.

I anyone could, please help me. If whole wheat is okay does it have to be hard core whole wheat or will packaged bread from the store do fine?

If whole wheat is okay in how much moderation do you have to have? One serving a day, two servings, no servings?

Thanks for any help in getting me started out.
