Surely if you strip away all the cultural and subcultural fads and influences through the ages, a healthy woman who looks like she could bear healthy children, and a strong and healthy man (ditto) are what matters. Fashion trends in body type come and go. (Think about the days when it was unfashionable to be thin- skinny women were caricaturized as spinsters, witches, etc.)

What low carbing is about at the end of the day, is getting healthy again, by eating what we were intended to eat rather than processed/refined flour, sugar, etc. Body types have always varied from the beginning of time...some people are long and thin, some short and square, and so on.
