Today when I woke up my throat was very dry and sore. I was wondering what to take to soothe it. All the lozenges I've seen are LOADED with sugar. Also, if this develops into a cough and/or cold, is there something I can take or just grin and bear it? I have been drinking my 80oz. of water per day & have lowered the heat in my house so I think it may be a cold starting. DAMN! I've never been one to take meds. for a cold but, my throat really hurts. I also have a cool-mist humidifier going in my room with some essential oils in it (tea tree&lavender).
